Wedding Themes - Hints, Tips and Ideas to compose Your Perfect Day

Wedding Themes

Creating a theme for your wedding is significant if you want to design a feeling of unity and cohesion. If there are no criteria to work to you may get everything becomes muddled and confusing, adding to an already stressful time of planning and preparation.

Themes do not have to be so specific that they are limiting. The simplest theme could be a colour combination where everything is colour coded to match precisely. Or a more mettlesome and keen theme would be to work around a favourite stage production such as noxious or favourite film such as Casablanca. You may be fond of a particular era and want to theme your wedding around that. For example the 1950's was a time of sophistication with crisp, current structures and shorter hem lines, whilst the 1960's saw an increase in fun and flirtatious fashion, specifically the mini skirt, although the majority of wedding dresses in the 1960's were once again long.

Once you have chosen a theme it is a qualified plan to report your ideas somewhere. This relate will back to sustain you focused and on track during the planning stage and can be as simple as a few notes in your diary, a mood board, or a burly and detailed filing system with samples, swatches, suppliers and ideas. It also helps, no matter what size the wedding, to carry colour swatches with you fair in case you need to match something when you are out.

Now you have your theme and have recorded some of your ideas you need to glean people who can befriend you to invent these ideas, and the first halt for shopping, after the venue of course, is the wedding dress shop. The dress does tend to be the main focus of a wedding and generally speaking wedding guests are eager to glimpse the dress first, followed by the flowers. So you have a lot to live up to when you near!

Once you have the dress that matches your theme of course, you can now add the accessories; shoes, jewellery, hair style, create up, tiara etc. This should be a fun time but you do need to remain realistic as to what is possible and select advice from your chosen suppliers. They are after all the professionals.

Many of the suppliers you encounter will often be able to provide a bespoke or do service to form something modern and specific for you. This is ideal if your theme is quite different and you are struggling to glean things off the peg. Ask suppliers whether or not this is something they can do. And don't forget, if one supplier cannot provide something you want it is always a well-behaved thought to shop around to contemplate if someone else can.

With each pick or decision, it is a genuine opinion to check that it works with your theme. When shopping it is very easy to accept carried away because you like something, but that something may not work on this occasion.

Above all, finish focused and maintain to your theme.
